I haven't been looking forward to writing this at all. In fact I've been dreading it. So about seven months ago I was finally able to rejoin FA and MXO after a long and unfortunate absence. I was thrilled to be back. The thought of getting back in-game and playing with you guys really made me excited. However, the game I came back to wasn't the same game I left. When I was forced to leave MXO it was full of life and excitement. There was a vibrant community and friendly atmosphere. Sadly, those days are gone. It's unfortunate that a game with so much potential has been reduced to a practical ghost town. Once where I found entertaining parties and contests are now only empty clubs with generic music on replay. Where there was a battle around every corner now is just endless deserted streets and perhaps the occasional pvp in Mara C. Where there was once epic story events there is now poorly managed, confusing excuses for events.

The only thing that has not changed... is FA. You guys are and most likely always will always be the best faction/guild/clan I've ever played with in any game. It has been an experience in and of itself to be a part of FA. I only wish that was enough to keep me playing MXO. Sadly, It's not. From the moment I saw that first FA video and caught a glimpse of one of the angels in their whites, I was hooked. Even now as I write this post my love for this faction hasn't been reduced one bit.

I can only hope that you guys allow me to stick around the site and on TS. I wouldn't want to leave and never hear from you guys again. I consider you all friends and want to continue that no matter where I decide to go or FA as a faction decides to go.

For now, I don't know what I'm going to do. There aren't any MMOs out there at the moment that really peak my interest. There are a few in development I will most likely check out. So for the time being I guess I'll stick to games on Steam and a little StarCraft here and there. So feel free, no matter what game it is, if you see the name Venlar to say hi. Until then.. this angel has to retire his uniform.

I truly hate seeing these threads.  

But you gotta do what you gotta do.  Hopefully you'll at  least be able to stick around on the forums with the rest of our retired.  Megacity will be even more empty without you.

Thanks guys... I had an irrational fear that all of a sudden the pitchforks and torches would come out and I'd be facing a lynch mob. I'm glad that didn't happen lol. My interest in MXO has just declined to to point where I'm only ever on when there or new missions or a major event. I just don't know what I'm gonna do now that I don't have an MMO to suck up my life lol.
