Anyone ever wondered what would happen to a red pill operative if he took a red pill, or a blue pill, or both?
I dont know i was pondering about it last night, he'd probably have and acid trip or something, but what do you think?

well essencially all the red pill is .. is a tracking device.  The blue pill as far as I can make out would be something to the effect of a sleeping pill ..... Morpheus: "you wake up and believe whatever you want to believe."

My own speculation is that the red pill, at least the version we saw with Neo, causes some kind of neural overload in order to create an signal spike (make him stick out versus all the other pod people). This spike might be the effect of changing what stage of sleep cycle he's in or forcing electrical activity in his brain. This overload is dangerous however as it can cause cardiac arrest (think how fast your heart is beating when you wake up from a nightmare).

So what would happen if they took both at the same time? Well the blue pill is designed to put you into a deep sleep state so then you "wake up" later back in your normal sleep state (whatever normal for the Matrix is) and think it was just a dream. So it would be hard to tell what the interactive effects would be. On the one hand they may simply cancel each other out. A different scenario is that one pill would overcome the other. I guess we won't really know until someone tries it :-p
If all the world's problems were solved today, what would you have left to do tomorrow?
