yeahhhh ... i forget who, but i remember someone here had made one of their beta RSIs to look as ugly as possible .... and it was pretty damn nasty .... and if you wnat proof from the movie ... look at the merv ... usually an accent on a guy is hot, but him i just wanted to punch in the face

it might have even improved his looks :p

as far as fat people in zion, i don't think they would survive the conditions. being as obesity is a health issue, and the people of zion were already struggling for survival, living on slush that compromised the essentials they needed to survive, they couldn't afford to give out extra rations or anything like that. plus, with all of the training they go through in the matrix, people would eventually be smaller, not only from malnutrition but also from their muscles working so much while jacked in.

as far as bluepils, we really only saw a small section of the world's people, and mostly just megacity, people walking outside. if you go to downtown chicago you'll most likely see a lot more attractive people walking freely on the streets flaunting their stuff, and the larger people will be hiding down in the fudge shop in the st louis train station (which makes AWESOME fudge, by the way, and they even sing to you and give you free samples! last year my choir went there for tour and we decided that they do all the singing so we sang for them

) so yeah. there ya go

I don't think Merv was physically ugly, it was his damned attitude that made him seem so. Now Smith isn't a great looking guy, nor was the chick that wore all white in Morpheus' crew. I forgot here name.....Switch maybe?
