Counter Strike... Why you can't hit anything...

I've been trying to get a few friends to do tests. It looks like it could be an issue with the engine, but then again it may just be an issue with Source.

I think it's CS-Source, the other games worked fine with nobody complaining...However, everyone has been saying you can't shoot for shit on Source, even some of the best CAL league players I know..They still play 1.6 until it's fixed.

Well I attempted this for a while the other night and when I could actually concentrate enough to think ahead of where people were going, it worked. That and when I wasn't just spamming into an open area, heh. I've had my really good days and really bad ones, that was one of the bad nights

Yeah, got me banned on a couple servers as well...stupid ass admins. I seriously think some admins ban people with better scores than themselves.

OMFG......sigh.......figures........but damn i was still pretty good...but screw CS. Next month battlefield 2 comes out, the most inticipated FPS ever. Check it out on EA's website

Battlefield 2 looks like a definite 'gasm. I saw the trailer. 'Nuff said.

You know it's funny, I was thinking about how the whole hitbox thing works, and how surprisingly good I was when I first started playing CSS (after several months of not playing 1.5/1.6).
I'm such a terrible shot that the hit-box displacement compensates for it, thus making me a better shot.
Meaning: I can't aim for shit, so in older CS versions I was screwed, but now it seems to even out.

This is why spray guns like mp5, famas, galil are now actually very accurate. With their recoil and the hitboxes as they are, you could aim about 2 feet to either side of play and within 10 shots get a headshot lol.
