Multi-Duel Bug

For those of you that don't know,  there is a bug that allows more than 2 people to duel eachother.  Actually,  we're not sure if this is a bug or not, but several have reported it.  After a little testing last night we determined a few laws that it follows and a few it doesn't...so we don't understand its functionality fully as of yet, but heres what we do know:

1.  If you initiate a duel, you can only fight someone who didn't initiate a duel.  (And vice-versa)

2.  You can only duel up to 2 people at a time.

There are many vague differences in how this works, as well.  It doesn't seem to always work by order of duels; ie: Duel group 1 initiates; Duel group 2 initiates a moment later; Duel group 3 initiates after 2 = And groups 1 and 3 end up fighting.  Also, Sometimes it seems that you must be close to the other duel group, but sometimes it works when your far.  And sometimes it doesn't work at all.  

So like I said, after a while of testing, we couldn't exactly pin-point what the causes were.  However, since their has been RIP jumping into FA duels I figured everyone should know about this.  So just be aware when dueling in populated areas.

The petition I sent in had them saying they were well aware of the problem AND the problem of certain clans using it to piss people off. (RIP)

The way you described how it works seems about right... I say we take a vote and put RIP on our KOS list. I know the constructs aren't up but I think it would be a nice suprise for them if we just starting beating the crap out of them when it does go back up.

I would be probably among the few to ask that the hand be stayed, and we are not so rash as to add them to the KOS list again.  There's absolutely no reason to make more people hate us, no matter who they are exactly.

Yes, it is a bug and they do have a fix for it already. I wonder if there's going to be team dueling at all...

As for RIP, that is something we need to discuss. I tried talking with a few of their members last night and they shrugged me off. At the Zionist Mixer, they crashed the party, event though they were being just nuisances. I also keep getting reports that they've been mocking us by adopting our white uniform. In the end, I think they WANT to be on our KOS. They truly believe they are the most powerful faction. While talking to one of their "younger members" trying to find out details of the exploit, I was told "You think we cheat just because we are the most powerful faction". I wouldn't be surprised if they attacked us as soon as the Constructs go back up.

To be honest the devs probably know RIP is up to some shady stuff and I would be surprised if a lot got the boot from beta once it all gets sorted out. Right now they are the devs pawns after they fix stuff they might not be around.

But.. they still pose a threat and I wouldn't doubt that they will start attacking us at the first shot they get.
