No, but I recently talked to someone who had and he said that it was bullshit  and that no one should buy it. Including things like original characters being edited out and replaced by the ones from the newer movies,  including voices, chubakka (however you spell it) and other stuff.

Yeah I heard some stupid things too - like they replaced the voice of Boba Fett with the guy who does Jango Fett - and I heard that the Hayden addition at the end was a horrible photoshop. lol.

i got it and i love it.  i've been watching them for the past week.  lost of awesome extras and goodies.

yea some of the changes are annoying (the boba fett redubbing was very unnecessary), but  really there isnt much more than was  added/changed from the special editions.

one thing is for sure, it looks and sounds better than ever!  they've obviously enhanced the soundtrack and the visuals.

I get around to picking a copy of it up soon hopefully, It's a shame to me that they chopped and dubbed a few things though.

I wish Lucas would put the un-un-un-editted version out on DVD.

Why do they change things in a proven great sags? I love the originals and sure the special editions aren't bad either. It's nice to have some scenes extended but why edit in newer characters into and older movie. To me thats kinda disrespectful.

Lucas seems to give the excuse, 'It's not the movie that's changing - it's the technology' D:!
