Tribes was my first big PC game, and TribesRPG (a mod) was my first step towards an MMORPG and certainly my first online RPG.

I was SOOO good at Tribes. I still can't believe how crazy good I ended up being at that game. And in TribesRPG I ended up being an admin of the server, which was my first time starting to write scripts and moderate a community.

What does VIP Status in Tribes: Ascend mean?
"VIP" is a special lifetime account status that will be available to those that purchase it in Tribes: Ascend. Those with VIP status will have priority login, access to exclusive servers, and will earn Tokens and Experience faster inside the game, allowing them to unlock items faster.

As a promotion during Closed Beta, any player who purchases Gold or Boosters for real money will receive lifetime VIP status upon that purchase.
