MxO History:
Beside Tbone, I am the longest running Furious Angel member joining back April 1, 2004. (Zero may or may not have joined before me, but he left for quite awhile.) I was interested in joining the Matrix Online once I heard about it after the 3rd Matrix movie, and originally had joined the Children of Zion faction, and there I saw a thread stating another ex-member had stated a faction. So I checked it out and really enjoyed the challenge that it took to join the faction, so I traded factions and joined the Furious Angels. From there I became the official record taker of the faction. Quickly I became the captain of the Veritas, I was extremely active in the faction during the beta, and the first year or so of the release of the game, with my main job being interviewer of new members. Once I started college I just didn't have much time for MxO, between classes and leadership roles, so I drifted away into retirement.

Darkfall Online:
All I have is a laptop on me and an ever increasing course load, so I haven't had much time to get into Darkfall. I am 2 month shy of finishing this quarter, which is my last difficult quarter in my degree. I'm hoping to to get a laptop that can run decent games and start getting into gaming again. Then once I graduate I am so looking forward to not having homework.

Current guild members I have met in Real Life:

Fuse
Lits
Heironymus
Jeyk
Dagonet
Yotogi
ManicVelocity
Zero (my brother)

I also have met a number of members who are no longer with us (GrimKitten, Vermillion, Joaquin). Did I leave anyone out? Bellthazor is close to me, so I gotta guilt him into hanging out sometime. Also, my ultimate goal is to meet the mysterious Broin, who even I barely know anything about. We should really have an FA get together in DC sometime...maybe when NoCry plans on visiting.

Brannigan

Real Name: Dean

Age: I remember when coke added life

Location: Auckland, New Zealand

Occupation: Sales manager for IT company

Contact Information:

I wont bore you with a litany of past games I’ve been drawn into. There are the main ones, Diablo (being the one that changed my gaming world) Age of Empires (and all the others in the same genre e.g. War Craft, Red Alert etc) A lot of FPS’s and im a mad Counter Strike freak (1.6 fuck source)
I’ve beta tested a lot of the MMO’s around now. EQ2, AoC, VG and a few others. EQ2 has been my home of choice since the second week of launch. I have 4 lvl 80 toon’s. My main (Brannigan) is a top end raid toon. I have been the raid leader for one of the top guilds in game. I am currently playing lvl locked pvp.
Every game has a sell by date. EQ2 even though I believe is one of the most mature (in game depth) MMO’s around has lost a lot of it’s pull due to the dumbing down and care bear trends being implemented by SOE. What used to be a tough game with nasty high end content has become to those well equipped, nothing more than a farming run. Sure there are still a few mobs to slay that are real tough, but the ember of interest has died to just a spark.
Darkfall must deliver.

I’ts time to move on and up.

I’m a hard core player. I don’t expect people to help me and I don’t expect you all to like me. But I’m fiercely loyal and will always help those who are willing to be good at what they do. I don’t expect everyone around me to be the best, but I do expect those I group with to want to be good at their toon. I don’t hold hands and give coin to beggers but I will include you on a loot run as long as you do your part. I will do what is required of me by FA’s leadership and help all in clan that need it. But please don’t expect me to hang with you if you like going on follow and watching TV while I’m breaking my ass to score us some yummy lootz.
Respect is not a bonus you receive for joining Furious Angels, you earn every bit of it by the way you conduct yourself and the character you display in the process.

I hope to earn your respect in the coming months

MxO History:
Where do i start?

This game, like Tbone, was my first MMO i was willing to pay for...

I was REALLY psyched as to how his recruitment was setup so i joined up around the same time as Eroz and Lith. I was younger then so i had all the time in the world to devote to this game. Later on i had become the Captain of the Evigilos (Which during the time, in my opinion, was the most active ship in MxO :P). Naturally i've been in through beta and out through the games bad times... Eventually, i started losing that "Free time" that i always had and decided to step down from my position and eventually leaving MxO.

Part of the reason i kept my MxO account open for longer than i liked was because of this faction. I had become friends and almost family like with many people here. I didn't want to leave them. I've tried many a MMO to find a group of players like the FA but none have ever satisfied my Appetite.

Now that they are looking at playing Darkfall, i'm extremely happy and giddy as a school girl to be able to play with my Guildmates once more.

Games:

I play all sorts of games... from handhelds (PSP, DS), Console (Wii =/), PC Fps and Strategy games. PC games that i currently play are TF2, L4D, UT3, BF2142, Red Alert 3, and DOD:S.

I've played many HL1 and HL2 mods along with many mmo's like Ragnarok, Lineage 2, Everquest 2, MxO, WoW (yuck!)... and a few others i can't think of at the moment.

Personal:

Honestly... i'm bad at this shit. If you really want to know about me, talk to me or message me. Asside from that, here is a pathetic attempt at a personal section.

I like food.

I play lots of games.
I'm easy going.
Mature when i need to be but a child at heart.
I like to laugh.

Le fin.

Broin

Real Name:

Age:

Occupation:

Location:

Contact Information:

Don’t worry I’ll be in touch if I need to

History:

Some say Broin was born in a small town somewhere along the Mississippi Delta where the bullfrogs and cottonmouths swim through the mire of the dark water and the mosquito’s fill up the afternoon sky like small puffs of smoke from the tobacco farmer’s pipes.

Others claim that he was raised around the streets of East London somewhere around the Borough of Redbridge and would often be seen walking the short stint from his house to Loxford Park, a nice enough place to stretch ones legs and pass the time.

Still others would say that he spent his most formative years in North Carolina.  Doing what he could to steal away to the small community of Harkers Island with what time he was able to find for himself.  It was an out of the way place and rumor was an old family friend would let him borrow a boat to head over to Shackleford for the weekend.  He’d sleep in a wooden make shift shack, marveling at the sunsets, smelling the tide roll in on the brisk wind, watching the ponies run wild.  He hears things are different there now, but then things are different everywhere.

Truth be told no one really knows.  All is speculation and supposition, but then again isn’t everything?

Darkfall Profile:

Whether it was Tbone who found Broin or Broin who found Tbone none could truly say except for themselves and neither talked of such things freely.  Suffice to say that when Tbone returned to his ancestral homelands Broin was with him.

Wherever you find the young leader whether on the field of battle, in the halls of Parliament, or skulking across the lands of Agon you’ll find Broin by his side.  Freely providing his own blunt perspective of things and dealing out what justice is required of the circumstances.

Not much more about this elusive Mirdain is known, and those few who may know more… Well it is safe to say they know better than to tell.

Go ahead, make my day.

I've noticed others posting their profiles on this topic. Not sure if it's just the staff or if everyone can, but I decided I'd go ahead and throw mine in there. This is copied directly from my topic "Orphaeus" under Biographies.

Quote
This is a just a rough outline so far, and I intend to add more detail as I become more familiar with my Darkfall playstyle and world lore.

Orphaeus's life began like any other. Born to a strikingly beautiful Mirdain couple, Orphaeus was raised in the peace and serinity of Mirendil's forests. He looked nothing like either of his parents, that's not to say he wasn't attractive, he simply bore no resemblance. He was always told his features portrayed more intelligence than charm.

From birth Orphaeus was gifted with an outstanding intellectual capacity, and learned quicker than anyone else his age. He could outwit the average middle-aged Mirdain scholar in debate and banter by the age of twelve, and was considered "unteachable" by most, looking for every opportunity to contradict the statements of his instructors.

One as gifted as Orphaeus doesen't go unoticed by superiors, and notice him they did. Those in power quickly realized his potential. Though not exactly physically exceptional, his mind was sharp and his body young and moldable. If they couldn't make him a high-ranking officer, he would at least make a brilliant tactician.

By his late teenage years Orphaeus had already surpassed the expectations of his superiors. Not only had he become an adept combatant, but he had done so while remaining lithe and agile, rather than burly and thick. Those he couldn't overpower he could outmaneuver, and eventually defeat regardless of size. But before being placed onto the battlefeild, he vanished. Those who knew him say that he was placed within a special government program for the extremely gifted, but the truth is slightly different.

Orphaeus had been contacted by a group calling themselves The Furious Angels, and had abandoned his life as a soldier of Mirendil to serve their cause. Not much is known about The Furious Angels, as they are shrouded in an aura of folklore and mystery, and those who go looking for answers always end up wishing one way or another that they hadn't. One thing, however, can be ascertained: Orphaeus is now serving a cause far greater than himself, and those who had the pleasure to know him can be certain, it's what he had been born for.

(Again that's just a rough draft. I intend to change things up a bit. Feel free to add criticism where need be.)
