I ran the new crit mission earlier this evening, and without trying to give too much away, on one of mission phases (i think the third phase) there is a hostile lvl 100 decelerator. It can't do much damage but it hits u with that annoying decelerated code. You obviously dont have to kill this as part of the mission, even though i was prepared to take this guy on myself. lmao. Anyway i aborted as i had an idea.

Basically my thoughts on this where, is it worth a group of us running this mission and basically farming these things? this is obviously providing they drop those decelerator buffs. It has also occured to me that they may drop absolutley nothing of use to anybody.

Your thoughts please?

The first Zion critical for chapter 9.1 had these things floating in a mission area as well. I remember seeing someone on DN1 post their screenshots of taking one out and being quite disappointed that there was no good loot. I doubt these were meant to hold any accelerator/decelerator frags anyway, because people could just farm them by aborting and restarting the mission over and over again. If we want any of the Intruder's unique code frags, we'll have to do so via live events.

Keep in mind that once you complete a critical mission while on someone else's mission team, you can't run the mission for yourself later on. Semantics, I know. But I'm very particular about running my own crits, so I can take my time and read every line of dialogue and search every container.
