Peace or War?

I'm sure many of you have seen the newest Other Side of the Looking glass, but I had a question about it.  The image of the peace/war shirts leads me to believe a decision on the truce will be made.  I was wondering, is FA going to be pro-peace or pro-war in all the mayhem coming up?

Actually, that's for the anniversary event, which is going to be fluff that's not really Matrix canon. Besides the peace and war shirts, there's a bunch of other words as well. I'm not sure there will be any decision to be had anytime soon.

Just some general thoughts from me.  My $.02 if you will:

We always speak of truces, but in my opinion, a truce does nothing but prolong the inevitable.  Can there truely be a peaceful resolution between the parties involved?  What are they terms of this truce?  Why are we to believe that a truce will last?  Is this "truce" just a ploy to gain time for the other side to regroup and rebuild?

At least that's my "IC" thoughts on the story.  .....they also happen to mirror my OCC thoughts on truces as wel.....hehe.

Ya the shirts along with about 7 others including one dedicated TO the actual event are gonna be released. Thats all they are. shirts for the event. cant be coded decomped etc etc. the usual.

OK then, well what happens when/if we ever have to make the choice then?

Whatever happened to choice?  Have we inadvertantly become EPN?  To truce would be to accept that every Bluepill has a choice to make, and that we won't try to directly affect that.

The choice isn't truce. He's saying what if the truce is broken. The machines become hostile. Do we give up for the sake of peace or fight for what we believe in. There is not truly choice until we are free. Until the machines agree to work with the humans to rebuild the surface.

And the Machines aren't hostile now?  By the by anyway, no I'm not saying we lay down and die - but I'm not saying we get trigger happy for the sake of it either.
