Hory cow.

I had the idea to get some scrolling white christmas lights, color each light with a green marker, and then hang them vertically.  A very Matrix christmas.  But this guy went all out.  I've seen people do the same thing but always on a much smaller scale.

damn, i can't imagine they do that more than once, maybe twice a night .... or week. can you imagine trying to get anything done inside while that craziness is going on???

in about a month, i'll take some pictures of the house on the corner, once they get their decor set up. it's not timed to music, but almost every year they blow a fuse for the entire block because they have so many ... THINGS .... *shudder*

our house has simple shag lights and one candle in each window on the side of the house facing the street ... the end. :p

During Christmas here my buds and I  have a tradition to go Christmas deer humping.  So what that means is if there are two Christmas light deer in someones yard we make them mount eachother and then drive off.  Its classic.

WOW! Can you imagine how much time that must have taken to set up, and the electric bill. I'll stick w/ my lights arount the door and on the tree outside.  :d   :D

For any of you that are interested, the music playing in the background is by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.  They are a group that does a "rock and orchestra" mix of Christmas music; although, next year they will release "Nightcastle", their first non-Christmas music album, which will contain their versions of classical music pieces, including O'Fortuna.  They have singers, strings, drums, electric guitars, two pianists, the whole nine yards.

I saw them two weeks ago in concert, and their light/laser show that hangs over the stage is amazing, very very similar to what you see in this video.  Go see them live, you won't be dissapointed.  I can try to upload some of their albums to Fuse's FTP if anyone wants to give them a listen.
