Good flick.  There were quite a few sappy, as Joaquin would say, "monkey love" scenes, but it made up for it in action.

Ew... monkey love.

As much as I hate the "remake" and "book-to-movie adaptation" roads that Hollywood seems to be going down lately, the hype around Kong has gotten to me.  I might have to go see it this weekend.

Monkey love?  She screws the ape?  I don't wish to know.

Monkey things never did it for me.  I am watching The Exorcism Of Emily Rose this weekend though, a good Christmas film

I posted in this thread. What happened to it?

Movie was too cheesy. Narnia's CGI was better. Everyone's bones were made of titanium (especially the fragile girl being swung around by King Kong every other second). There was no consistancy with time (daylight one minute, night time the next with no passage of time). Lots of plot holes. The movie was just...sloppy.

it's weird considering that the effects were both done by the same people

Agreed!

Yes, the graphics sucked at some points (integrating the girl into the background), BUT WHO CARES! :p Did you not see the T-Rex fight scene?! Did you not see what happened to the T-Rex?! :p People literally jumped out of their seats!

Isn't everyone's bones made out of titanium in every movie? :p

yeah it's pretty hard to have an all cgi character holding a human thru a whole movie, pretty new to me
