Audio problem
« on: November 10, 2005, 03:34:15 pm »
I discovered the other day when I was in TS that I could hear the game playing but I could barely hear anyone speaking on TS.. it was fainter than a whiper... Then ... I just downloaded the new Naruto..... and started watching it... to my suprise I could hear the background music LOUDLY and all the effects... but I could barely hear what each character was saying...
What is wrong with my computer?????
Is it the Audio Codecs perhaps? I don't know.. any help?

Maybe you just have your settings out of whack. Bass all the way up and treble all the way down or something like that...

I was going to watch Batman Begins on my notebook the other nite, and I know it was a working audio file, cause I had previously watched it on my friends desktop...

However when I tried to watch it on the notebook, the music, and effects were all normal but the voices were quiet as hell.

I remedied the problem by installing the K-Lite Codec pack. http://www.sullycentral.net/dl/klite/ you can choose... klcodec227f.exe, or klmcodec116.exe, the first is the "full" codec pack, the second is the "mega" codec pack, I believe they both contain the codec you are looking for.
