It's sick that some people can laugh at the worst natural disaster in US history.

Not to take away from the main focus of this thread, but Hurricane Katrina was not this country's worst natural disaster.  In 1900 a Hurricane larger than that of Katrina hit Galvestion, TX killing over 8,000 people.  The little island town was so badily destroyed that in order to rebuild they created this country's first "sea wall" and had to raise the level of the "entire city" approx. 20ft.  There were so many bodies that they would put them on barges and send them out into the gulf of Mexico only to have the bodies drift back onto shore a week later.  

I would imagine that if they ever want to rebuild New Orleans that a similar fix like that in Galveston would have to be implemented.

The point of that thread was to clarify the truth to people who were being fed lies by certain people. I expected to get hate tells from the Viral Vendetta folks, but I started getting hate tells from OTHERS b/c they thought I was insensitive enough to PRETEND to have gone through the hurricane due to VV spreading rumors. It has nothing to do with what they posted on their private boards or anything like that.

So Boombye, shut up. One day you will see that, despite you trying to help things, you only make matters worse. I know those guys are jerks who are getting a kick out of the thread and pretending to care. Just don't give them the time of day.

In an ironic twist of fate, both Mek and Psyc recently discovered they have family members missing in New Orleans. They also both donated to the Red Cross and go to church every Sunday to pray for my wretched soul that is trying to steal attention in this horrible time.

I know we are total internet geeks with no lives here. And no I dont care much if i offended you with that because if you have enough time to go through the riddles and get into the FA then you are obviously an internet geek... Its just amazing that some people will take it to that level. No I'm not to terribly fond of the people in VV or RIP or whatever... but you know... If they said they had lost their home or friends or family in any disaster, be it a bus hitting them or their town being bombed, i would extend my hand and offer my sympathies. The thought of some people concocting claims that Tbone 'Made it up' is sickening. The thought of people beleiving them is just stupidity? WHY!?! SO HE COULD GO ON VACATION!?! Why wouldnt he just say Hey guys goin on vacation see ya :B I mean holey crap... These people can understand the greater thoughts behind The Matrix Trilogy but they cant logicaly think about Tbone? -sigh- And some of these people... Oh my house burned down, so now im allowed to laugh at all the people dying and losing their homes in other disasters, il "kick back with my popcorn" . My house burned down when i was 4, i watched my mom try running up the stairs to save me some clothes and being carried back down by firemen. Do you know why, because the family below (a hispanic family) had 10 people living in a 1 bedroom apartment, they had stepped on wiring under the carpet so much that it sparked and burned down MY house, but do i laugh at all people involved in fires? Do i hate every mexican i see? GOD DAMN! These people need to get laid, bad. Or shot... prefferably shot.
