Beta to Gold players will have their name reserved for Gold. There
should be no problem.

Well, in a week, I'll delete my character in Beta just to be sure my name is reserved for when the game goes live. (Not like anyone wants a name 'IMJIce'...) And by the way Midnight, the name 'Midnight' is already taken by some dude in another faction, I think. Just thought you would want to know.

Are faction names going to be reserved at all? What happens if some random ppl decide to make a faction named Furious Angels before us...

heh they won't, because tbone will be here and stealing my computer getting up his reputation points to 16 to make a faction right after rpe-order goes live haha

unfortunately, it is going to be a pain for me because my pre-order account and my current beta account are not linked, so to make sure that i get my name i am going to have to delete my char beforehand, create another cheap temp char with another name, then jump on immediately on release on the other account and create my name. arg.

woot woot. i dont have much to worry about cuz my name isnt really in demand but i guess thats pretty good. good luck with that long list of procedures for preorder grim, i hope all goes ok and you get your name and stuff. that would suck if everyone had to change their names again although i never had that problem. haha arch!!

im sure the dev's would step in if an established faction from beta had thier faction name taken. the community would cause such an uproar if they didn't take action (one thing i like about the mxo community as a whole). plus, the only people i could see trying to take FA's name would be RIP. they made it clear that some of them would be back for the live version.

i dont think anyone would want to take my name, at least i hope not, theres only room enough in this world for 1 zink and sometimes the world aint even enough for one, so by the time i get home i hope my name wont be taken.
