Is it necessary? As many of you know a great deal of people are still in the matrix and will never be able to leave... as far as we can tell the number could be anywhere from millions... to billions... or purhaps even more... The destruction of the matrix means the death of those who are still plugged in. I ask you this, Are they truly slaves? At the end of The Matrix Revolutions The oracle asked the architecht if those who WANT to leave will be aloud to... Those who are cannot be extract from the matrix because they made a choice... and the choice they made was to accept the matrix as their reality... on a subconcious level they WANT to stay in the matrix... Now how can we take it upon ourselfs to kill those still inside if this is the choice they have made... Some may view them as slaves... but is one truly a slave if they choose to be?
I'll leave you with this question... If those who wish to leave the matrix are allowed to and those who wish to stay are free to do so... Why destroy the matrix?

As said by Morpheus (paraphrase), some minds have become so dependent on the matrix that they will do anything to defend it. Many Zionists strive to free ALL of mankind from bondage. This would be pretty darn difficult to do lol.

The Matrix is a form of control, if all humans were freed from the machines then there would be no more purpose for the Matrix. Like programs, if it does not have a purpose it is deleted (end of the game). So although many strive for the destruction of the Matrix, I don't think it's gonna happen until everyone is free.

Thats a good point, you can't... unless another method of control was created to force/convince them to take the redpill.

In the current state, Zion and the machines are at a truce where anyone that wants out is let out. It is only human to kill eachother though.... If it came to extremes where zionists actually had a chance and taking out the matrix (via destroying the source/machine city) I think they would be rational and just call those that do not want to be freed traitors or leave them in the system and let them die off while only the ones who wanted to see the truth would remain.

In my opinion, one way or another, massive amounts of death will come to humankind in the end. The question is which set? the redpills or the bluepills?

I see destroying the matrix as the only way to end the machines grip on us, and the rest of the world. Right now all the people un able to be freed are just what the machines want them to be, batteries. Do you really think the machines want to live in harmony with us? It will never work so one of us must go, and even though many human lives will be lost, I think it will be for the better of all of us if we could once again live on the surface of the world. We could re build and re populate, and most of all learn from our mistakes and not use AI on machines.
