Hey everyone

I was wondering if someone could help me with website creation

If someone could post some links to "free" online resources for the likes of, Dreamweaver, Flash, maybe even Fireworks...

This would be a great help... I mean, its about time i got around to learning some of this stuff

Thanks

i would suggest finding somewhere to host the site for free, first. i'm a fan of freewebs.com ... then go buy html for dummies. or do what i do and do the trial and error theivery method .... meaning go to a site, go to view: source, and look at the html, play around with it. once you get the basics, it's not too hard to fiddle with it.

as for flash, i have no clue :D

Kool, im on a trial and error sort of method now neway, even sometimes get some nice layouts goin in Dreamweaver then i get confused.... and lost... and confused... and tired... and frustrated... and ... and .... and... (u get the idea)

Im using Geocities atm for my sigs, but ive no html pages up with the images... jus a bunch random jpgs... i could use their applications for making basic websites... but ive more than one computer around me tho, so i wouldnt mind to start some webhosting (for personal use) along with some CS Source servers

Seriously tho, if anyone has info on any of these topics... please please please let me know :)

Thanks for interest gRim :)

Adobe ImageReady makes it pretty easy to create webpages...then you can import that into Dreamweaver.  So look into an ImageReady web tutorial as well.

There are html tutorials all over the web, but it takes a lot of trial and error before you get the hang of it. I started out on free webhost templates. I then branched out to my on coding, eventually getting to frames and all that good stuff. The skill deteriorates, though, but is quick to pick back up.

www.htmlgoodies.com is a nice place to start for basic, and more advanced HTML.

Registering on various forums out there is one of the best ways to learn - if it is a good forum, you can have a solution to your question within 15 minutes sometimes. I can't think of any...

Dreamweaver, quite simply - have a play around with... and fireworks. They package everything up for you quite nicely. As for FLASH, try and get MX Pro 2004, this comes with the stuff that actually works. Anything pre-this version is a bit unstable.

Just holla, we'll help you out where we can!

I'm a total frickin rock star from mars.
C'mon bro, I got tiger blood.

htmlgoodies is great I bought the guy's book many years ago and it taught me what I know of HTML.
