Did anybody have the time to look at the reason why this site crashes Explorer ?

Last time I heard about it we were suspecting the TeamSpeak block of doing it.

I was trying to post something and it crashed three times as I submitted it.  I had to type my post three times.

This site makes my Explorer crash about 5 times a day.   It's the only site that ever makes my Explorer crash.

Can anybody from staff take a look at that ?  I'm so tired of this that I'd fix it myself if I had access.

I hope it won't crash as I submit this.

I've actually noticed it myself when I'm using computers at school. I don't think it's //voice, because my //voice is constantly closed...

You could click the Firefox link in my sig for a BETTER web browser... :D

i used to have that problem all the time as well. i minimized //voice, //broadcast and //f.a.t. and haven't had a problem since, so it's one of those, my best guess being //f.a.t. since that was the last thing i tried minimizing. not that i need it since i run on f.a.t. all the time anyway :D yay for the midwest

Well even when the "voice" block is closed my Explorer still crashes.  The code that fill that blocks probably still executes but nothing is displayed when the block is closed.

Good suggestion Grim, I'll try to close the "FAT" block.  I don't think it's the "broadcast" block since Explorer crashed before that block was created.

Please let me know if minimizing f.a.t. fixes the problem. We tried improving the code to Teamspeak, but haven't done anything with f.a.t yet. It could very well be what's causing the problem...

my guess is FAT - I warned ya about it before ;) all the javascript builds are flakey. I'll look into an alternative.

-edit-
BTW, I don't use explorer, but Opera instead - no crashes here.

I'm a total frickin rock star from mars.
C'mon bro, I got tiger blood.

The only times I've been having crashes with the site is mainly operating the forums.  Everything else seems to work fine for me.

At college on internet explorer and even here at home when I se mozilla it always seems to crash when you go to submit a post or go to a different section on the forums.

I use explorer...and I don't think the page has ever crashed for me.  Sounds like I'm a small statistic, but thought I'd contribute...

IE + school internet = screwed in the ass

at home, i never have issues with internet, AIM even connects on the first try and ALWAYS connected my linked screennames. at school, yeah 5, 6, 10 tries finally connects, NEVER get my linked screennames .... *sigh*

i'm all for a vote of taking down the f.a.t. and putting up a new module for that. go ket go! *cheers*
