I use the usenet and XBMC. I haven't tried Plex yet, but what XBMC gives us is unlimited access to our library of movies and tv shows. We can sort the movies by title, year, genera, etc. That comes in pretty handy when you've got 500+ movies. The tv shows are also sortable, but the nice thing is it marks what's watched and unwatched.
Probably the biggest thing that would keep me from leaving XBMC is all of my downloaders work directly with it. When my media server downloads a TV show via Sickbeard, it updates my XBMC library automatically. Couchpotato does this too.
Automated library management and a simple to use interface it where it's at.

SWTOR is uninstalled, and I've killed my subscription. Brighid (waz_here) and I miss playing with you guys, but MMO's or any regularly scheduled gaming just isn't in our time budget right now. We've been off camping and off-road exploring in our free time and haven't been gaming at all.

Context: "If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you've got a business, you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen. The Internet didn't get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet. The point is, is that when we succeed, we succeed because of our individual initiative, but also because we do things together."
So yes, if you cherry pick the one badly worded line in there, it's pretty awful. But if you ignore a person's entire point and just pick out the parts you want to focus on, your argument is lazy and childish. It was shameful when people did it to GWB, and it's shameful now.
Grow the fuck up and have an adult conversation. (That's for the our entire country, not just this thread.)

For the next 10 or so years, you'll have someone living in your house who believes in magic. Embrace that and enjoy!

Juuuuusssst so ya know... putting this sort of complaint out there in a very general way seems to tell everyone they kinda suck. Not really a morale builder.
Hopefully whoever inspired Sared to make this post was taken aside and told directly, "Hey, you kinda suck. Here's why..."

I'm going to hold off on excitement/disappointment until I learn more about all this.

Our air conditioning has gone out and unfortunately we live in a desert (Arizona). We have a repairman coming, but if it doesn't go well, there's no way I can fire up my PC and play a video game. I'll give an update in the next few hours.
You all have my apologies.

Depending on what you're running (don't want to conflict with the WeekEND raid lockouts) I can stand in for Mharz.
Let me know.

The occasional disruption is understandable, but we've been doing this long enough for the group as a whole to see patterns in people's behavior. Personally, I know I need to be kinder and more patient. Others need to be more respectful of other people's time. Regularly being late is not cool. Always being the last guy back after a wipe is not cool. And finally, needing a break after the group as a whole just took a break seems selfish.
We all are guilty of all of these from time to time. Life happens. When it happens to one person all the time it seems they havent set three hours aside for a raid.
Don't take the game seriously, it's just a game. Always take other people's time very seriously.

I signed up Van and Milhouse for the weekend. I'll bring whichever suits the raid more.
