Yeah, it caught my eye as well. I'm getting a little burnt out on this whole Freemium thing, but I'm a pretty big Ghost Recon fan. I like near-future combat games way more than all the 'here and now' stuff. Makes me wish Blacklight had a larger following, that game was a LOT of fun.

Ya know, as it first started up, I was a little "Umm... hmm... well..."

And then it really kicked off, and that low end dragged me right in.

Had some power to it, nice work chief. What programs are you using?

Don't have the energy for a full review, but a couple things.

Character Customization, while pretty cool looking, is nowhere near as detailed as I felt they let on.

This game NEEDS multiple objectives. Having a single thing to deal with, that the defending team can literally just park on and hold, means that if there's even a modicum of organization on one team, it can become very very hard to shift people from the objective. Yeah, sure, go for the Command Points... it's like they're a distraction or something.

Wait... that's it? - Really Story? Really?

For the most part I've been enjoying it, but at the moment, I think I'm going to go play some Gatling Gears.

As much as I'd like to pick it up for PC, I'm likely going to get it for the 360. Alas, my PC is reserved for MMO's and games that can't be played on more reliable platforms.

I'm a pretty big XBL gamer, and I am ALL about Brink. I went to their event at PAX, played a game and enjoyed it, and got a bitchin' rebel facemask for the effort.

Well this is right up my alley.

Figures that Saturday is the evening all my friends are taking me out for my birthday, so we'll see what happens. Maybe I'll just consider it pre-gaming for the main event.

That being said, does anyone have a Minecraft server? I'd love to see what a bunch of drunk nerds end up working on over-night.

Actually, I think being a loner might be a plus. I asked if he was in any sort of formed Guild prior, and he said no, not very many were. But I'm a conspiracy theorist and that's just how I think.
