I just got back into detroit and into the convention center. Long game, which is good. Controls for the Xbox are a bit clunky though; especially crouching. That's a pain in the ass, crouching's the best part of the game! And going up the elevator in the Sarif building too, but mostly crouching, 'specially if you're all about the sneaky-sneaky.

Parts of my town were set on fire last night. The rioting is getting more widespread, and the police have been too far stretched to respond with any decisiveness. It's so sad to see people's livelihoods go up in flames, knowing that even if the perpetrators get caught, they face a jail term that is nowhere near long enough, imo.
Damn idiots, just joining in on the "fun"... they have no message to send. It's nothing to do with race, nothing to do with economics. They are just groups of youths causing trouble for fun. I think some kids are gonna get their asses kicked by police batons and riot shields tonight. The major rain tomorrow will probably keep 'em off the streets.
It does peeve me that somehow the government and police get blamed by some groups. There is no justification or reasoning for what is going on, other than they're all low-life scum. Why bother with a facade of economic, political or racial motivation, when they've got no f***ing idea about any of it? I've seen an interview with a looter that goes something like "We just showing the gov'ment what we can do if we want, them conservatives or whatever they are." Dumb, ignorant, thieving, greedy, scum. And these actions prove no different.

My uncle works in print, so if there is something that I can ask him for, just say. Haven't brought this up so far because it didn't seem like numbers were in mind yet.

When starting out, I think it's good to get a whole load of interviews [if you can] to places that you don't really want. Have some fun at the interview process knowing that the outcome doesn't matter. This'll give you an idea of how it goes and get you into a more relaxed state for your real interviews...
It was at an Argos store, which I think is sorta equivalent to Sears? Argos is kinda a strange concept in stores... I'm not sure they have an Argos equivalent...?! I have been trying for that, applications and CV's sent out left, right, center, vertically, cross-dimensionally since Wednesday, and this has been my first and only reply so far. Here's hoping on others

Thanks for all the advice guys! ...Too bad you're on the wrong side of the pond, and I was already in the interview room! It was at an Argos store, which I think is sorta equivalent to Sears? Nothing fancy, but hey, I'm not gonna be picky at this stage. That said, if you're not sure, where a suit/dress combo that can still look good if you remove the jacket and/or tie. I had been getting worked up over this before, but I got some similar advice, and went for a suit. Turns out I was a bit overdressed, so off came the jacket, tie and monocle. I had prepared a handful of questions, and done the research, but the chance for either didn't come up. Or I might have missed the opportunity. The nerves almost did get me, and I can get shaken up pretty bad (as those of you who attended my interview might remember, heh). Managed to get my cool head on, and when it did start, I think it went pretty well. Till I let out that my second choice university was 120miles away. "So....I take it if you go to that uni, you'd have to leave us?" Monkey balls. glorified data entry grunt I totally read that wrong the first time through. Congrats!

I would change the PSU, personally. If I'm not mistaken, that's the retailers own brand, so MIGHT be made of cheaper components. Either way, the PSU is something you definitely do not want to skimp on. If it messes up, say goodbye to the rest of your components. Although I'm not entirely sure what would suit your price range, check out reviews first on whatever you're thinking of. I personally check http://www.bit-tech.net for reviews on what I'm thinking of getting first, good stuff on there. Reliability and stability can vary across a manufacturer's, although I've read that Corsair PSU's are generally top-notch and exempt from this (I'd still check first). The rest of it looks pretty well put together, although I'd personally go for http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152185&cm_re=samsung_f3-_-22-152-185-_-Product as the HDD.
