After letting the last movie settle, I was disappointed. Lots of ruined character arcs and missed opportunities. Sadly, the first act (as meta as it was) kind of worked and could have played out as a sort of psychological thriller... pushing forward the idea of not to make another 'stupid' action movie.
But, at this point corporate WB wants more money off this franchise. It's going to happen one way or another. Signing on a passionate writer could bring it some redeeming quality.
I recently picked up new parts for a PC build. I am really happy with the VR performance on this setup - it's on the high end without breaking the bank. A valid argument can be made to jump up or down to a 4070 or 4080 depending on your budget.
I am currently using a Quest 3 and wirelessly streaming my PC VR games via Remote Desktop over Wifi 6e.
Yeah, I just got the Quest and 6E router in today. Going to try and set it up tonight. My extended battery strap should be here in the next day or two. I'd like to try Pop 1 again with a wireless setup!
I don't get everything in until this weekend or next week. So I can't really say how it is yet. I think I'm going to buy the official link cable. It's expensive, but it's probably better quality than the others and if there are any issues with it I can bitch to them about it. Hopefully I won't need to use it much with wireless.
2. Air Link. Some people swear by wireless, so this is another option. The recommendation is to have a dedicated router for the Quest. You'll plug the router into your computer and then have the headset line of sight to the router. The better the router, the smoother your connection (6E is currently the top dog here). Personally I can tell a big difference in compression artifacts when using wireless over air, but it keeps getting better and better.
You can use this option with Steam VR as well? Bought a 6E router, battery strap, and Quest 3 for 'Christmas'.
