Huzzah for 10 years! To celebrate, I'm having a shindig at my house! The party lasts all weekend for FAers! Some of you have already confirmed. Others might still be considering. Dates are April 25-27th.
I have a loose plan. Friday will basically be low-key. I'll let you guys try out the Rift, we can grab some food and booze, and just chat and hang out and game. I may have a random guy stop by to try the Rift out as well (I'm on a list that allows people to come demo). Normally I wouldn't do this at my house, but since all of you will be there, it should be cool.
Saturday afternoon is still up in the air. We can discuss it and figure out what we wanna do (go into DC, etc.). Saturday night is going to be a huge party. It's ALSO my 30th birthday and ALSO I'm leaving town next month for two months. So I'm throwing a huge party to basically celebrate three things at the same time. Prepare to stay up late - party will start around 9 (though FAers will probably be partying all day). It should be a nice turnout - people generally look forward to my parties - but we'll see!
I imagine a lot of people will be leaving Sunday, so it'll probably be low key as well. Again we can play this by ear. If anyone needs to come into town early or stay a bit later, just let me know. I'll probably be working Thursday evening and possibly Monday evening, but the weekend should be clear. Also, if anyone needs a hotel (some of you have gone back and forth) let me know - I might can get a discount for you.
If you can't make it in person, we'll probably be on TS Friday night for a bit, depending on how many people bring laptops and what we decide to do! Here's who I have confirmed:
