Hey everyone, I owe everyone an explanation of why I left the guild so I'll do my best to share my feelings on it. I have been on the edge for a while now. Wasn't sure I was still having fun. I am way PVP focused right now and that just has not been a focus for the guild, especially compared to PvE. Also, and this isn't a bad thing at all! Most of you have jobs, a family, are all grown up and just do not have the time to be very active. Whatever very active means, I play video games way too much in my opinion. It's nothing personal with anyone, I love you guys and for a while now my life has been really rough. This guild has helped me very much in coping with all of that, which I am extremely thankful for. I will admit I had a very hard time making a decision. I really do consider all of you that I talk to, a friend. I have been waiting for some type of change, some change that a lot of other members have been wanting and waiting for and it has never come. My issues are pretty much the same as the other members who have left. I do not believe that I can really grow beyond my skill level that much with this guild. Not to say we are a bad guild when it comes to skill or anything though. I'm really sorry if I've hurt anyones feelings and I of course want to stay friends and keep talking with all of you!

First, I don't see how anyone is living in the past. If we were, then about half of the people here would be gone because we'd be too hardcore for them.
Second, leadership has stepped up, it's the members who are constantly bitching who haven't. And thankfully those few are dropping out faster than flies.
Let me tell you, every single night there is something to do. There are always at least 4 people PvPing while 8 people are raiding. And when raiding ends usually a couple go and PvP. And with people's schedules there are usually spots to sub-into. Just ask Kokuei, or TinCan, or Longboard... (and others, forgive me for not mentioning everyone!) they all have stood up and taken a vacant spot and reaped the rewards. I'll game any day with these individuals over those who come to meetings or the forums to bitch and then never come on TS, always game alone, or game with others outside FA. And, as if I need more examples, even the 'world boss' night which we wanted to do after the meeting and interview... well guess what, 75% of everyone signed off immediately afterwards. The framework for success is in place. Either people go for it or they don't. I can't help those who don't.
I see it as coming down to who wants to get involved and who wants to get dragged down by other people's 'problems'. If you get dragged down, you'll probably sadly end with a topic like this.
