It's not F2P. Tecknik was making a funny. It's a free trial up to level 15. You know, like WoW and every other MMO. It's pretty much the same thing as the weekend trials they've been doing, only more permanent.

Most MMO's take the F2P route when they notice a significant a drop in subs and need to draw people in. WoW did the same thing around the time their numbers started dropping.
It's not truly F2P, but is more of a permanent trial. You can play for as long as you'd like, but you can't level past 15.
