Title: HELP ME! Internet connection options?

Hey guys, I'm moving on saturday and the house is outside of a lot of companies zones or whatever. So the available internet would be like 512kb/s WHICH IS SHIT! And I wanted to know if anyone knows if I could connect to the internet some other way? I've heard of being able to get a sim card or something to put into my laptop that will connect to the internet through a phone signal. It doesn't matter what it is, or how much money it'd cost. If I can't play swtor and I have to live with internet of that level of shittiness. I WILL DIE! Of course Idk if this is all true, it was coming from my Dad and let's just say I'm incapable of believing anything he says, even if he is sure it's true. Help a guildie out. Think of all the times I've helped all of you! And all the times I have not and erase them from your memory and replace them with memories of me helping you when I didn't.

I've thought about that actually, problem is I'd be booked 24/7 and wouldn't have time to play!

Lol. But yeah, I hope  you find something. I've been stuck on crap internet before myself. Pretty much the reason I missed out on MxO. Was on dialup that didnt get past 28.8 speeds. Talk about lame. Porn was animated gifs and downloading an mp3 took me about 30 minutes a song on a good night.

Anyway, I dont know that I'd recommend any wireless options over what you will have available otherwise. In my own experience, wireless is slower and heavily impacted by network congestion.

You may be surprised how quick you get used to 512K internet pipes... :p

As a temporary fix, you can play most MMO's through a tethered 3G connection.  You won't be able to reliably use TeamSpeak, but the game will run fine as long as no one calls/texts you.  I leveled a warrior from 0 to 85 in WoW doing this at the office on my laptop.

I have tried this, which is how I am typing this to you guys now! However being out here in the sticks, also means that my phone has a hard time keeping a single bar of signal strength. DAMN IT!
