Title: WPVP - is that how it happened?

I was just browsing around the net and decided to check out one of the opposing guild's websites tonight at work.. saw the above on thier status updates. Kind of funny.

...Or am I mistaken and there was some other situation exactly like ours where they actually took down the boss rather than FA taking it down instead? I certainly remember this happening differently. :P

I remember a history professor telling us that in the age of the internet, history is no longer written by the victors, but by every blithering idiot with access to a keyboard.

edit: he gave F's on papers that used Wikipedia or blogs as sources

I wouldn't rush to assume they're making it up, notice how that guy doesn't mention our name, or even that the Republic forces were a guild at all.   Maybe they really did help some Sith out trying to take down a world boss, and they got jumped by some random pubs who got stomped.

I guess it's possible... but it was posted so quickly after our own scenario that I find it hard to believe it isn't the same situation.

I refuse to believe anybody, even someone on the internet, can be THAT deluded.  Therefore, I find it much more believable that these two events are completely unrelated.

If my experience in Warzones can apply to open world, then I find it quite reasonable to assume a fair level of incompetence for the average Republic PvPer.  E7 can very well have had free reign over Tatooine yesterday... until we came around.
