Hello all,
I'm Troflles. I was just accepted into the ranks of the furious angels. The world of RP is something I have never really touched before, but I am looking forward to it. I am now faced with two challenges for which I am seeking guideance/ assistance on. First, creating a character bio/backstory. What should I focus on? Where my character came from? Personality? Motivations? All of it? Where do I start? Second, what are the rules of engagement for RPing?

You can use my bio as a template of sorts. Try to avoid making your character into a marysue(flawless character) by giving them flaws. Also make sure you leave room for your character to develop and grow as you play the game. Start by figuring out your race, physical attributes and personality. Once you have that begin to write you history this may take some research since you may need to brush up on your lore. The name may be tricky because it may come right away or for me I usually don't come up with one until I have started to write my history.
You are also going to have to decide if you are going to be a light, moderate, or heavy rper since that will dictate your ROE.

what are the rules of engagement for RPing?
We don't require that you are always in-character or anything like that, but just remember that how you behave in the game will ultimately reflect on the group as a whole. We trust each member to assist in reinforcing a positive image of the guild.

You can get creative with your individual RP. In terms of group RP, we typically do light RP during recruitment, PvP, and dealing with other guilds. The most important thing to know is the type of guild we are RPing, essentially. We're a secretive group with few words. We act as a cohesive unit. We operate outside of the reach of the Jedi Council, though are obviously affected by them.
I think I just need to type out the full RP. We've been sort of building it as we go, but with it being a month before launch, it's time to put these things down in stone.
