i know i mentioned the whole NDA thing on your last thread but i've been personally looking for this for my sage soooooooo oh well...i won't say anything if you won't LOL!

oh btw...if any sages wants to know a bit more about their trees...let me know.
IN a nutshell...
Balance = shadow priest (AMAZING ST dps, good aoe dps)
Seer = healer
Telekinetics = kinda like a crit bookin or semi mage (VERY bursty...more likely a pvp tree for me due to the burst) (good ST dps, great AOE dps)

Fuse - best solo honestly would be Sage since you can heal yourself, however your 1st companion can tank which makes Shadow viable as well for soloing.

For Sentinel, I suggest going all the way up the Combat tree for maximum burst damage. This is designed for single target DPS and PvP. If you would rather do AoE DoTs, then the Watchman tree should be looked at.
Skills you can avoid:
Smoldering Winds - In PvP, you'll mostly be using force sweep and cauterize as an interrupt not a damage dealer, so this isn't helpful.
Temperance - save this for one of the last things you get if you plan on focusing on PvE, but even then that one focus isn't worth the 3 points since cauterize will only be used on bosses/high hp
Defensive roll - you won't encounter too many AoEs leveling or in PvP. Save this for last for PvE and/or a bit better defense in PvP
Fleetfooted - You should definitely get this when you can, as it is great for getting out of sticky PvP situations, but in the build I played, I still hadn't gotten force camouflage when I got to this option. Come back to it when you can unless you feel like you must have it ASAP for PvP.
Displacement - pretty useless. We aren't debuffers and the 2% defense isn't worth it. Use these two points to go back and get something you were waiting on (like fleetfooted).

At quick glance it looks like the only unique "buff" a republic char can give is Armor Screen under combat medic.

Better than a Tank Shadow? It's like all the advantages of paladin + rogue leveling....
Balance reminded me more of an Aff. Lock from looking at the talents.
