Yeah, but shinier. But it's free version is rubbish; I pay £10 a month to get unlimited music on my iphone.

no one here does Rdio? sounds like this is a similar thing to them.

I just got in. It's pretty cool! Free access to every song ever, and you can install it on as many computers as you want. It also will sync up songs that are on your computer to your phone wirelessly if you have the app.

Apparently there are 15 second ads occasionally, but I haven't heard one yet.

i'm impressed with Spotify. found out their collection is about twice as big as Rdio's (and the subscription price is the same).

i think the free version of Spotify isn't bad at all. the ads are very random, when they hit it's usually in groups of 3, so that's annoying. but sometime i'll get 3-6 ads in 30 mins, and then go hours w/o hearing an ad. small price to pay for free access IMO.
