So if you have any questions you want me to ask. Lemme know. :roll1:

They agreed on a phrase to stick in their sigs to identify themselves to each other without breaking the NDA: "All the way to Alderaan."

So, if you see that in someone's sig, they've probably been in the beta at some point, and you can read between the lines in their posts to maybe glean some new info.

They probably avoid telling people so they're not constantly pressured for information.

Cast anonymous votes in a poll that they had gotten into beta, yes. SAY they're in beta, no.

Maybe they're just being cautious then, since no one wants to ace themselves out of beta?

In any case, if you see that keyphrase in someone's sig, take note.

Post by: Paitryn on August 12, 2011, 08:48:32 pm: still downloading. it didnt say a beta weekend so im hoping its just a normal beta. as for wining and dining, really havent done any and i have been signed up since the moment it was announced (back then i was on the swtor forums almost every hour of the day i wasnt working)

im tooling around the beta forums a bit to get an idea of whats going on atm. hopefully ill have some decent info by the time our next meeting comes around. sadly i dont know how much i can play since the Warhammer 40k ard boyz qualifier is this sunday and i have 4 armies going into that competiton. (sadly none of my own, but armies i painted for other players. i still like to show my support no less)

I do think this will be a great time for me and lin since we just got our internet back and finished moving. now she will get some playtime to figure out what she likes the best and choose a class.

as for polish ive seen more bugs in WoW as of cata release than this beta version. i havent gotten far so i cant say that will always be that way.

i have a few minor issues, none that were different than other games really though.

I'm not too bothered at all; I'd rather play the live version than test it and have the story spoiled for me. That and I'd like to play with less bugs :p

Lots of games coming out, Deus Ex today, Gears of War 3 next month, and then in October there's some Battlefield 3 and Arkham City awesomeness... November got quite a few games too to tie me down til release.
