Title: New link for "All Good Things..." movie
Post by: Tbone on July 30, 2010, 01:17:40 pm
Since YouTube didn't like the song we used for our ending credits (and consequently kept disabling the audio of the second half of our movie), we've re-uploaded the whole thing. The good news is that, since YouTube now allows 15 minutes in length and we cut the credits, it all fits in one upload. You can update your bookmarks with this link:

Upon closer inspection, I noticed the audio is out-of-sync. We'll try to get a new link up soon.

I'm trying to get it to my host now... It allows unlimited bandwidth, no censoring, and you can embed DVD quality or Web quality. If you goto the site you can view it in full HD... Obviously not a permanent solution, but I can see where smugmug would be helpful for FA in the future...

Have you tried vimeo?

Hosting isn't the issue. We just need to get a copy where the audio isn't screwy. We're not hosting it on a different random site. This copy shouldn't have a copyright problem and YouTube should work just fine.

YouTube should work just fine.

...but it doesn't.

I ask because I was fairly sure vimeo didn't have copywrite restrictions.

I believe Vimeo doesn't allow videos of video game recordings.
I'm not 100% sure though.

Thought you meant the audio sync was an issue with youtube.

No, it happened in the encoding.
