Promo Code: PAXEAST842
This promo code works on all orders of $40+, and stacks with the $10 off promo for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (PC DIGITAL DOWNLOAD ONLY).
Enjoy!

I was one week too soon! Goddamnit!
-
Couldn't pass up such an insane deal.
-
Just a heads-up: the promo for $10 off on BFBC2 ends today - however, the coupon code for $20 off any order $40+ doesn't expire until April 9, and can be used on anything found within the EA Store.
If you've been on the fence, today is your last day to snag the PC version of this game for $19.95!

4 Hours till I'm in.

VIP Map Pack 2 released today: opens up new maps for Rush and Conquest. Apparently, all you need to do is join a server running the new maps to activate them if you have the Limited Edition of the game which included the initial VIP content.
Additionally, you can still net the game for $30 with the above code through April 9th.

Dumb question... is BF:BC2 a stand alone, or just an expansion for BF? I did the digital DL, but ti keeps asking for a disk.
-
It's standalone - not sure why it is asking you for a disc.
It looks like as long as the server you join runs the new maps, it doesn't matter which edition you have.

ok, next dumb question... I added it to steam (add non-steam game) but I still can't add friends. Do i still need to buy something through the steam network to get those privileges?
-
Why do you think you would be allowed to use steam without buying a game on steam?
-
I wasn't sure if some games were allowed to be tied into steam and allow that access. I thought BC2 might have been one because i know you can buy it through Steam.
Steam has changed so much since I had it last...
-
I bought it.

i got it working, and also bought kotor, so added some of you guys on steam.
