Title: The Force Unleashed: PC
Post by: Tbone on October 31, 2009, 01:10:24 pm
I'm downloading this now (yeah, I know it doesn't come out for another few days...shhh!!). My plan is for me to pretend I'm playing SWTOR by playing this until SWTOR comes out. Also, could get some good screenies for use in content.

...for those who torrent.

If you decide to download this, make sure you download the reloaded crack fix as well, so that you're game won't crash :)

Fun game so far. Basically everyone and everything is a rag doll for you to destroy. Fun mayhem!

Good game, AMAZING story.  Like Fuse and other normal people I got it months ago for a gaming system and beat it months ago.

While this does indeed include the original "Star Wars: The Forced Unleashed" game which was previously released on consoles, this version is a re-release dubbed the "Ultimate Sith Edition", which includes a wealth of additional content, all of which present Starkiller as the Emperor's new apprentice.

New Content:  http://www.kotaku.com.au/2009/07/star-wars-the-force-unleashed-expands-with-new-dlc-ultimate-sith-edition/

LucasArts announced at today’s Star Wars Spectacular a new batch of downloadable content for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed that will take players to Tattooine and Hoth, meeting characters like Boba Fett, Luke Skywalker and Obi-wan Kenobi.

The expansion will have players once again assuming the role of the Secret Apprentice from The Force Unleashed, now serving the Emperor and tasked with eliminating the few remaining Jedi—Obi-Wan and Skywalker, for example—altering the established Star Wars story line further. The DLC’s trailer posed the question “What if the dark side won?”

LucasArts will also release Star Wars The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition during the Holiday 2009 season, a special edition of the game featuring the original title, plus the already available downloadable content, plus an exclusive level (Hoth).

This edition will be released on 360/PS3/PC.

You can download the Tatooine mission pack on PSN now, I did months ago. SPOILER: killing Obi-Wan and Boba Fett was muchos fun! Can't wait for the Hoth DLC to come out.

Got the 2 new mission packs and beat them last night, pretty sweet.  I hate it that the Hoth level will only be on this new edition coming out soon.  Why the fuck should people have to buy another copy of the game just to get that level?

Bring on your "Gaming on the PC is better than platforms" comments Tbone...

I find it interesting that Hoth even needs to happen.  I don't think Luke would destroy the Death Star on Starkiller's watch...
