today 4-5 of us went ganking in alfar territory... and ive gotta tell you... it feels really, really good to be on the other side of the ganking spectrum! we killed like 6-7 alfar... very fun!!! :D we need to do this more often! oh and the reason we formed a gank squad was to help Phienyx get his alignment up... he was red... he was just a walking target.. one look at him.. and i wanted to kill him.. lol the urge just to kill someone who's red is hard to fight

Agreed! I had to bail early sadly, but as you guys no doubt noticed, I was pretty hesitant to actually leave. We definitely have to make that a slightly more common event, feels good to be doing the dirty work for the greater good.... Such a bonus to be killing and reporting exploiters too.

Yeah, my bad on the red thing. Earlier in the week, I killed a rogue player, but by the time I ganked him, he had turned blue again. Result: lost alignment. Then again earlier this week, I accidentally hit a blue player than ran in front of my blade as I was killing a goblin and turned rogue myself. Him and his two blue buddies attacked me, but the one I happned to kill first (didn't gank him because I was still running from his buddies) was one that was swinging at me, but couldn't connect to save his life. Result: lost alignment.
Then, last night there was a player running around whacking on people to go rogue and then use the towers to build up his parry. Broin and I attacked and killed him....but then I ganked him just as he turned blue again. Result: "You are now evil". On the bright side, the person I killed was Murder Herd. It also moved my bind point to our clan city and not some random chaos stone.
At first, we decided I should camp out our city and just gank a couple Alfar that always seem to wander through. I attacked one who came to use our bank, and lost that one by a slim margin. KnightofZero and Broin came over to assist, but when they killed him, he released before I could make it over to gank him. After that, instead of just sitting around, I figured, why not take the fight to them for once? It beats sitting around and getting attacked by my own alliance because I was red, or not being ready and constantly fighting on the defense when they raid our territory. So Broin, KnightofZero, Seraethia and I trekked south east of our town into Alfarland to hunt.
We found a few exploiting the acid pits. We reported them and then attacked. A couple got away and Broin killed one and I think another was possibly killed. We then ventured further in toward one of their towns and attacked several Alfars mining, afk grinding or hunting. I got 3 kills/ganks myself to get my alignment back up. Most of these up to this point were in either solo or in groups of two or three. Finally we ran in to a larger group of 4-6 that killed most of us off. By that time Saraethia had to take off so there was only 3 of us. Broin and I got taken out and KnightofZero got away, but not before we killed at least one or two of them.
Yes, it was nice to finally bring the fight to them and fairly successfully.

Sounds good, I'd love to come along sometime, it appears that other races lands don't really have dedicated defenders yet and because of that invaders seem to have an advantage. Most likely because 70% or more of the people in game could be considered still a new player.
