Email from Renegade, a guy we declined earlier this week:
"I feel like I failed to explain myself thoroughly last night, I was kind of out of it. And I also know these decisions are final ones, I just don't think I presented myself correctly.
With regards to the AoC camping that was just what came with the guild tag. We were the most hated guild on the server because we took FFA to really mean all. We camped that road for 6 hours and had 2 different GMs come out and talk to us due to the high volume of petitions we were creating. Even as the GM was there we killed the same guy 12 different times. It's not like their weren't other ways around, they could easily walk away from us. The GMs of course couldn't do anything because it's ffa pvp, one GM actually encouraged us to kill everyone on the server. It was more about being a member of the guild. You are gonna follow your guild/clan mates into whatever endeavours they may venture. Funcom also put in a travel system after that so people no longer had to run endlessly through the lower level zones. I'd say we helped out the game overall.
Having not played Darkfall yet I'm not sure how griefing could work. I assume the bind stones are farther away and it won't be posisble unless someone waits a long period of time. I don't plan on going red or attacking any good aligned races. I think killing the Alfar, Mahirim, and Orks would fit well because they are all evil races.
I just wanted to throw that out their. Thank you again for the opportunity."

heh

Why did we reject him? Did it seem like all he wanted to do was gank everyone and their mother?
-
yes. He was all about the griefing, trash talking, and he was a bit young, mentally more so than age wise as he is 19
-
He said he actively enjoyed griefing and trash-talk. This is always the big one for me in interviews obviously, since I usually ask the applicant how they feel about griefing and trash-talk.
He believes he and his guild "helped the game overall", but it was at the cost of being outright tools, going so far as to continue their griefing in the presence of a GM.

sounds like a clan on my server in AOC; it was FFA but they did not add to the game.

ok that was just fun... now about Renegade just from reading that I can tell we wouldn't want someone like him in the faction. It appears to me we have always seemed to revolt against the gankers/campers. I see it as our duty to play clean up and take those kind of clans/groups out not be that type of clan. I dont think he would be happy with the way we do things anyway and would probably run off and do his own thing. Messing up any name we hope to make for ourselves.

"Furious Angels" is not just a name, it is an institution and as such must be protected at all costs.

When FA has been made famous over all the gaming world that Quote will be one of the few remembered by the gamers of all other clans.

If I can also add that more importantly it is an idea that is represented by our members.
