This should help us in figuring out hunting groups in the beginning and strategies for later. If your name is under UNKNOWN CLASS, UNKNOWN RACE, or is not listed at all, please reply with the information needed to complete the list. Thanks!

Was going human but if the general consensus is Mirdian and it’s gonna help having a tank early on I can live with pointy ears.

And to get back on topic, I suppose I'll be going Mirdain with some kind of ranged attack class. Preferably archery.

Post by: Broin on March 23, 2009, 06:23:01 pm: Ranged really isn't that bad... If you do the Kobold quest it's not that hard to pick up a hundred or so arrows in an arrow. You'll just need to level up bowery and start farming wood...

Really ranged for Merdain is a good way to go because we start out with a bonus to our ranged damage. Plus ranged seems to do alot of damage and levels quicker than magic.

Mirdain

Combat:
Primary: Polearms, Sword/Shield : supplement with archery
Secondary: some lesser magic

Crafting:
Logging, Herb Gathering, Mining
Herbalism
Plan on picking up alchemy for major pots and some enchants.
