Title: Goodbye Party For Manic
Post by: Anamodiel on December 06, 2008, 11:42:03 am: With Manic jacking out for good (http://thefuriousangels.com/index.php?topic=5359), it was suggested that we hold a final goodbye night for Manic, celebrating and mourning the last time that he jacks into the Matrix. Furthermore, I hope to not only hold a goodbye party for Manic, but also a game night so everyone can get on and discuss things and hang out, seeing as we haven't done that in a seriously long time.

Please post your time availabilities for the next two weeks, most preferably the weekend of the 12th and the weekend of the 19th. After those dates we start getting into Christmas time and people having family commitments and not being able to be online and being busy doing whatever else you do for the holidays. Manic's last day in, according to his sub (if I recall) is the 28th of December. It has to be before or on that date.

Thanks guys! Let's make this a great last day for Manic. Even if we don't jack into the Matrix for most of the time, Counter Strike, other games, and general TS chatter would be just as, if not more, fun and appreciated for Manic and everyone.

I am personally available whenever. My break starts this Tuesday, so any date after that will be workable for me.

The weekend of the 12th is my best bet. The weekend after that and the following week after that is going to be murder on me.

My sub is up on the 27th.

I recall Manic saying to me last night that he would be in Friday whether we're on or not, so I figure that that is a good time, plus it let's GMTers come on if they want to stay up super late. :)

Frankly, I don't know what, if anything, we'll be doing in the matrix. I jacked in for about half an hour on Monday and at its peak Mara C had a total of three people on /who. Including myself.

I'd be up for some CS:S if MxO gets too boring.

There are at least 10 Best Buys in the greater Los Angeles area with microphones that cost less than 20 bucks!

Or ask for an early Christmas present from your boy toy/parents/whoever if you're broke.

I've just come off of a week full of final exams, sleep deprivation, caffeine binges, and last minute papers - I basically lost consciousness when I laid on the bed near my PC :p. Sorry!

I'm thinking of resubbing to LOTRO for a month. Does anyone play that game?

Post by: Strod on December 16, 2008, 08:56:32 am: Some people are not able to dedicate the time to playing a huge tyrant such as WoW. I have multiple Lv. 80's now. I have never be happier in an MMORPG.

The only thing that beats this experience are the good times and memories of the Furious Angels.
