It's things like this that wear away at my ability to give second chances. I had many talks with Kafyn to avoid just this. Got this in my PM box earlier tonight:
Man, I feel really bad sending this message, but... yeah.
I've been watching and waiting for a long time, for something that convinces me to continue my journey as an Angel. I enjoy spending time with you guys when you're around, but as we both feared, my expectations... got the best of me. I think it's time for me to finally make my own faction. It's not because I dislike yours or anything, but my personality is more in the leadership role. I hope I can still think of you guys as a family in a way, even though I know as soon as you read this any connection I have to you will be disconnected...
I have learned a lot during my stay within FA, but I want you, and especially Broin, to understand that I am no spy, nor was I ever expecting my stay to be as... short as it was. I feel horrible because I said I would stay for a lot longer, but I guess it was just my time.
I really envy you Tbone, and what you have created, and hope to someday meet your ranking as a Faction.

I understand people leaving is a horrible thing, but I know I speak for many of us when I say he just did not fit, no question about it... I for one have no regrets about this and think it's definitely for the best.

I'm not surprised he did something like this. I imagine he'll try to remake the FA, and fail horribly at doing so. What he fails to realize that no one person makes up the Furious Angels, we are a group and the group is here, not with him. He can have all the members he wants in his faction, but he will never have what we have here.

Meh. Kind of expected this. At the very least, I'm glad he didn't make it to 50 by riding our coat tails.

Timeline:

March 18th, 2008: Kafyn is voted back in. We grilled him as to why he left and then to make sure that he would stay long term this time. here (http://thefuriousangels.com/index.php?topic=5084)
April 17th, 2008: Kafyn leaves the faction again, reporting that he wants to create a faction like ours. here (http://thefuriousangels.com/index.php?topic=5244)
Basically, he left twice within a span of five months after we gave him many chances to be let back in. Last I checked, we were hesitant to give second chances... I believe that THIRD chances, after a history of staying for so short a time and leaving so many times, should be entirely out of the question.

My vote is with Manic and Ana...
Likwid.. I, personally think it is different if you leave the game for financial or personal reasons.. if you leave the faction to "create one in its image" is basically saying I can create you guys but better IMHO...

I'll make the interview if I can, but unless he says something spectacularly convincing enough to convince us of his loyalty, my answer is "no".
Its one thing to have run into real life issue and need some time away. But to leave twice; the last time to try to create a clone of FA? I don't think so, Bub. I don't trust his loyalty one bit.

So I was browsing the LESIG forums, and I found this gem from a few days ago.
So for those that don't know, Kafyn has been trying to god mod some LESIG characters into his story line, here is what he sent me today:

From what I understand (I quit LESIG before these tools were made available) it's supposed to be a special item that activates a spawn. Probably identical to how a Pandora's Box works, but with different graphical effects and different NPC's (Zion/Mach/Merv/EPN/CYPH). Rarebit handed them out to LESIG characters for special events, but I've heard that some LESIG members managed to keep a few.
Is that why Machete was pissed off because he thought Manic was a LESIG character that has been abusing spawning NPCs recently?

They are an item that you can request from Rarebit (now Virrago) that, when right clicked, spawn NPC's. The admin simply places them in your inventory and they are free to be used as you see fit.
They are being handed out a lot more liberally now than they were during Rarebit's days. Some of LESIG are now using them to spawn for the players amusement, to give them something to do, even if it has no bearing on their story or any story.

As well, Virrago is on vacation this week so I wouldn't get them until at LEAST July 7th or 8th. Using them would be very sketchy. It would have to be discreet.
I'll see what I can do.
EDIT: Would SWAT spawns be alright? Or does it have to be Agents? Do you need other spawn tools?

This may be an unusual request, but I was wondering if you could send my main character, Anamodiel on Vector-Hostile, about 15 SWAT Spawn Tools.
No, they would not be used in PVP circumstances.
Instead, the Furious Angels (my faction) is creating one last video to send off the Matrix in the style that we feel it deserves. One of our scenes calls for a SWAT team shooting at us, and, while it would be possible for us to use Bayamos's client-side hacks to create SWAT team members, it would immensely help if we had the spawn tools instead in order to expedite our filming efforts. I'm asking for such a large quantity because we may need multiple angles and the extra would excuse any hiccups we may encounter while filming.
Any that are not used in the filming process will be distributed to LESIG members on Vector (Pentothal and Systematica) so that they are not wasted or abused by a "normal" character such as Anamodiel.
We don't need these right away, as I know you're on vacation this week, but once you get back next week, it'd be great to have them.
I would completely understand if you could not give us the spawn tools, though. We will make-do if such is the case. But, I figured that it would be better to ask and receive a "no" than to not ask at all. Of course, this would be kept classified and would be used in an area far away from prying eyes (both to keep it secret and to keep people from ruining our movie-making efforts).
