Figured I would make this post since August 1st is right around the corner.
In case you haven't seen it already. (http://www.ethanhaaswasright.com)
Personally, I'm betting on an MMO.
-
It's for the game...uh...Alpha Omega I believe? Already have a discussion going about it in the 11808 thread but since they are technically different...
-
Yeah, wanted to centralize and separate the two.
So is it an MMO? A straight up RPG? FPS? MMOFPS? (oh god let it be.) Any observations on the puzzles and the video messages?
-
From Everything I've read about the Alpha Omega Game it looks to be strictly a table-top Role-Playing game. sorry Sared

Update:
MindLabs IS NOT a real company!
EthanHaaswasright.com is not a promotion for a new Table-top RP game; it IS the game.
It's an ARG (Alternate Reality Game)
Unfortunately it's August 1st and nothing has happened.
After e-mailing Van (the guy in the scrambled videos) I received a message that led me to search out the 6 main stars in the Cassiopeia Constellation. Four of which I've found websites for, each site has a piece of Ethans Prophecies and dreams of this bleak future.
1. Caph: http://417stjneh.com/
2. Gamma Cas: http://www.6ld9102.com/
3. Ruchbah: http://www.kbfm314008.com/
4. Schedar: http://www.279fh7691.com/
5. Achird (or Eta Cas)
6. Segin or Navi (or Epsilon Cas)
I still believe this to be separate from Cloverfield.
-
Yes, it is confirmed to be separate from Cloverfield. At least, if your willing to take J.J. Abrams at his word.
-
Yeah, after I finished the first series of puzzles I put my email in to remind me of Aug 1st. I didn't get anything.
MindLabs is fictional? So that is just, what? A red herring? Another fake website devoted to the puzzle? How exactly were they linked in the first place?
