So here's the deal. In order to take on the Wasteland Corruptors that drop the Corrupted Code needed for the awesome hat/bandana combo that not only matches our uniform, but also has good buffs, we'll probably need a good team of 6 armed with enough insecticide (earned by trading in decaying code from the mini-Corruptors) to get the damage done in the amount of time alloted.
All this being said, those interested in completing this task will probably need to collect around 2000 insecticide, a hearty task on its own. I want to see who is interested in putting in the work so we can organize and get started. In order for this to work successfully, we'll have to be organized and have enough people interested.
I, for one, have already started collecting my code. I went ahead and traded in 80 for the cool hat (that also matches our uniform beautifully) that grants fly virus immunity. I suggest everyone else do the same, even if you don't plan on going for the hat/bandana combo. You can see the difference below:

I'd recommend we wait until they make the decaying code stackable. Things will go a lot smoother when we don't have to stop and keep emailing dozens of them to ourselves.

Well, it seems we have enough people interested to farm the Wasteland Corrupters ourselves when the time comes. In order to do this, though, everyone has to be prepared. Despite the number of people we can get on a team, I believe I've come up with the best system.
Everyone needs to farm enough insecticide to kill five Wasteland Corrupters on their own. That's 340 a corrupter, so you will need to farm 1700 insecticides to be prepared.
We'll need to go in rounds which will probably span over several hours. If you have a team of five, you need to kill 5 Wastelands together before anyone quits, so that insecticide is distributed equally while everyone gets an equal chance to loot. The theory is that if you have 5 people on a team, it should take you 1/5 the insecticide to kill, and therefore you should kill 5 before you've used up one corrupter's worth. So with a team of 4 you'll use 1/4 and can kill 4 but everyone still gets one chance to loot, thus maximizing your insecticide. This is why everyone needs to farm enough to kill 5 on their own - so that you will have enough to aid others in these rounds and keep everything balanced and even.
It'll take a while for enough of us to get 1700 to actually take one on (we'll at least need enough people so that it doesn't take too long and the guy despawns on us), so start collecting insecticide now! Maybe once enough of us get past 340, we can do one round. Any questions?

Wow, so for the second night in a row i logged in game at about 2am FA time and there isn't a single person anywhere, no FA and nobody....this makes me sad that our server has reached such a low population and that there isn't people on 24/7 only during prime time and im not talking about FA im talking about anyone. :(

My internet was down yesterday, which is why I wasn't around. Everytime I've jacked in there have been at least 10 people there - most of the time more.
It only takes 80 to get the first hat, so that's an option for those who aren't in for the long haul. You can also always fill up your invo and help the rest of us farm quicker, or plan to collect insecticide to help with the boss kills without needing the loot yourself.

Just to let you know, the Mervs have started to gank the area - particularly Dark Evolution. They are not to be trusted. Machines have been peaceful thusfar.

Some of you should be approaching Round 1 (the 340 insecticide mark). We'll probably attempt a Wasteland farm once we get around three people ready, but we can wait if others are close, so keep me updated. Also let me know if you've given up on this so I can take you off the participants list (to do this successfully will require at least 100 hours of farming).

Well since I lost 130 codes and was put back to 80 codes im behinde even more now. so yay. im still trying when time permits.
