They are closing around 120 stores and everything is 30-60% percent off. If the store hasn't closed yet near you GO CHECK IT OUT.. while generally overpriced 60 percent off something is still freakin awesome.. the one by my house is going so I am checking it out tomorrow. I will update and confirm the huge discount tomorrow.

Yep I found out about this over the weekend and have already made 2 trips to my closest store, unfortunately right now everything is just 10- 30% off here so still not that great of a deal. I talked with a manager that said they've got about 30 - 45 days left to liquidate everything, not sure if that's nation-wide but thought I'd let ya'll know.

Just talked to my buddy who is fairly high up at the local CompUSA. They aren't going completely out of business. They are just closing 128 stores. They were in debt, so they are trying to get out of it. All those stores were bought around the same time, and the leases were ending. So instead of renewing, I guess they are just cutting their losses and getting out. Apparently they are the only electronics company now that isn't in debt, as opposed to Circuit City and Best Buy.
30%-60% discount till they close the doors? Pfft. :P I get a 50% discount all the time on everything except Mac computers, Microsoft software, and Bose equipment.

Bell.. they were saying that the stuff is liquidated.. they aren't shipping any of it out apparently..
