You do blur too much but hey it's a working process. Not bad for being new to it.

a good way to make a ghostly figure without blurring and I am sure you probably already know this but cutting out the image and dropping the opacity level.. a good 70 or 75 percent makes a good ghostly image without losing the details.

yeah cutting out your body and making it have its own layer and make it more transparent would work well too maybe add a bit of blur but not as much ... either way i still like that pic of you kneeling down in front of the moon thats nice.  But I think a mix between the blurring and transparency would be great it would give the illusion of it blurring in and out of our reality without just looking like there was a smudge on the camera lense.

Ooooh...or you could use a Transparancy Mask to make it seem as though the edges of the person were more visible and the interior of the person less visible. That would make a pretty cool effect. I'd demonstrate, but I don't have Photoshop installed at the moment and since I'm reverting back to XP for now, there's no point in me installing it :P

I know it's a nicked picture.... try and guess what I have done (there are 5 things done to the top one. The following ones just have an extra filter etc.)
