$500 for the basic system (20GB HD) - minus HDMI, wifi, and a few flash card slots.
$600 for the larger system (60GB HD)

MAKE SURE TO PRE-ORDER 2 or 3 OF THESE AT DIFFERENT LOCATIONS. YOU WILL MAKE INSANE PROFIT ON EBAY. If not, you can return it, so you're not at a loss. This is perfect for those fellow college students out there. I did it with the 360 on release.

Either way, no thank you. $400 is maybe tolerable for a gaming system in this day and age, but 500 bucks for the base version of the system? My rent wouldn't get paid for that month. As much as it hurts, I think I'll have to wait.

I haven't heard any information on that. But I doubt it since I think the games are suppose to be in Blu-ray only, making it impossible for a system to play it own games. Nintendo press just started got to go.

Post by: Eroz on May 09, 2006, 12:31:33 pm: FFIII on the DS with 3d graphics. Two version of Twilight Princess, one for the Wii one for the GC. Wii version will be a launch game. Red Steele from Ubisoft looks damn sweet. (Swords are controlled indenpendly with the controllers) Both parts of the Wii controller are motion seasors, the main part has sound in it. (EG you shoot an arrow in zelda you hear the twang from the bow and arrow, from the controller to the TV.)

*sigh* oh well.
