I went to The Cobra Lounge (http://www.thecobralounge.com) yesterday and started looking through the source code. I found this number burried in a comment tag at the bottom of the code:
1132610839
So I copy and paste this number in an email to the webmaster, assuming it's part of a riddle or RP.
Today the site has apparently been closed for maintenance, but I found this code by highlighting the page:
5365656B20616E6420796F75207368616C6C2066696E642E00
4966796F75686176656974796F7577616E74746F736861726569742E00
4966796F7573686172656974796F75776F6E746861766569742E57686174697369743F00
It's hexadecimal. Translated, it reads:
Seek and you shall find. If you have it, you want to share it. If you share it, you won't have it. What is it?
The answer is "A Secret". I tried different variants of "secret" and put them at the end of the url ("/secret.html", "/secret", "/secret.php", "/secret.shtml") but nothing came up. So I sent this email to the webmaster:
If you have it, you want to share it. If you share it, you won't have it.
What is it?
A secret.
I have a secret to tell. Do you want to know what it is? It is the answer to everything that has been going on lately. The "red subculture", the biblical swarms of flies, the sudden advent of parkour, all of it.
Signed,
-A friend
Hopefully I'll get a response soon.

***Update***
It looks like the webmaster is playing along. I didn't think I'd really get a response. I just received this simple email in response to the commented string of numbers that I initially sent in:
???? Ummm, what is this. Junk mail?
We are too busy for this kind of stuff. Alot of weird emails lately.
Here is my response:
Not junk mail. Just a small comment to grab your attention.
I understand that you are busy, and I apologize for the intrusion. I noticed that The Cobra Lounge is down for maintenance. Code can be tricky sometimes, and become hexed with anomalies.
Perhaps I can help. I have a few secret tricks up my sleeve. If you would be interested, let me know.
Signed,
-MV
God I love this stuff! :D

Another bite!
This latest email is a bit more personal and has much less of an RP element:
Congratulations on discovering one of our secret relays. This first message was more of a test, if you wish to see where it leads, I need to know what organization you are affiliated with.
Exacto Blade
I replied simply that I follow Zion. Haven't mentioned anything about crew or faction.
I don't recall an "Exacto Blade" on Vector. Does this ring any bells with anyone else?

I can't believe you brought parkour into this. you're going to hell, you know that right? :)

If you had taken the time to read through The Cobra Lounge before it went "down", you'd know that an article was posted on it that explained the amazing acrobatic feats of redpills through parkour.
The Cobra Lounge was basically supposed to portray an online community of bluepills who documented events in Megacity. Articles ranged in topic from the "red subculture" to the strange city-wide blackout that occured over Halloween. If a bluepill saw a redpill leaping across buildings, scaling pipes, and flipping over cars, naturally they would assume that they are active participants of parkour.
So no, I didn't bring parkour into this. I remembered reading the article and thought I'd put it in as part of my RP email.
Check, and mate. :)

it's true, I am teh suck, I havent been able to be in game quite a while, I miss it. :(

You aren't just any man, you are the Neo-man! Or, how about " whoa-man"? lol

It's back up (http://www.thecobralounge.com/content/view/50/9/).
Latest email from the webmaster:
Oh, whew, that's good. I couldn't risk giving information to someone in Machines or Merovingians. Now that you've followed this rabbit far enough, would you like to jump into the hole?
I told him to "Just show me the way".
I'm wondering if they were just hedging their bets on a Zionite following the clues, or if they would just switch out "Zionites", "Machines", and "Merovingians" in that email depending on whatever org the person said they followed.

Does this mean anything:
1133090624
Hidden at the bottom of the front page code
-
Yeah, I saw that. I doubt they want me to email it to them. I'm guessing it was put there for someone else to come along and discover.

Alright, I'm going to need help with this. Here is the latest email:
http://xterm.c.thecobralounge.com/
You must gain access to advance.
If you need assistance I will provide "some".
Anyone willing to take the time to brute force this sucker? :)
The guy who I've been exchanging these emails with goes by the alias "Exacto Blade". I'm pretty sure he put the word "some" in quotes for a reason, so take that into consideration.

It's a compilation maybe. He refers to C, I wouldn't be surprised. See the login details:
gcc xterm.c emsi:
Weird? Requires Linux?
