I got a few PMs about my cfg file, so here we can discuss it.

The main variable I was talking about is CameraHeightOffset.
# Camera focal point as a factor of the half extents.
# ie. 1.0 is the player's head,
# 0.0 is the player's bottom
# -1.0 is the player's feet.
Inside the file, wherever there is a # symbol, that line will be ignored.
I have not played with all these settings, but as I look at it now, there is a "length of day" and "Cloud Panning Speed" setting. Play with these and let me know the outcome, or I will tonight when I get home. We may not need to wait for daylight with this setting.

You can also put that line into the options.cfg file.
