If your character is appearing with the wrong faction name over his/her head, this is how you can fix the issue:
1) Open your game installation directory (By default: C:\Program Files\Monolith Productions\The Matrix Online)
2) Open the Profiles subdirectory
3) Open the subdirectory with your character's name on it
4) Delete FN.CFG
The next time you log on, your character will be updated with the correct information from the server.

WHy the hell is that stored on the clients computer? I wonder if any organization info is stored like that that may be used to be seen and recognized as merv or mach while zionist...
