Ok, so I was driving down one to the major streets in my city and I saw a old style phone booth. The first thing that came to my mind was MxO, it was weird.
I also find myself typing /t while using Trillian to talk to people. So I think it is time to start a too much playing list.
1. You see a phone booth and find it necessary to pick up the phone.
2. You use /t to chat over a messager service.

1. Your divide your schedule into two parts - jacked in and not jacked in.
2. You decline going to a real life party because you've already been invited to one in-game.
3. When you put on sunglasses you find yourself walking in slow motion, humming "Furious Angels" while daring anyone to look at you the wrong way.
4. When your roommates ask about your day, you declare that your faction was once again victorious in the Construct!
5. When someone says "hacker", you instantly think "cheap".
6. You stare at your RSI's pathetic attempt to dance for hours, even when there isn't a party going on.

1. You try to mimic your RSI's dance moves because you cannot dance in real life.
2. You're actually a little paranoid of all the green in the real world...
3. You start to feel lonley when not logged into TS.
4. You wish you could code a $100 pair of shoes but there are no codes for size 15 :(

Also I live in Chicago, so it's weird comparing MxO to Chicago and visa versa..especially certain areas in downtown..

* You refuse to travel to places you haven't been before because you haven't "tagged the access node" yet.
* You explain to your English teacher that you're unable to take the test today because you forgot to use the proper ability loadout, so "Write Essay 4.0" is still in your code bank.
* You frequently stare at the walls, floor, celing (or sky) when walking around in crowded areas so that your "FPS will not drop".

1. When you'd rather jump over a building than go around it.
2. When you can't understand your homework, you write /ccr.
3. When you see a lawyer in sunglasses, you run away.
4. When you log into MxO, and you hear the jack being plugged-in, you lean back a little bit (I swear I do this sometimes :P), and when you jack out, you feel a tingle in the back of your neck (I don't do this one).

1. When you find yourself at the mall looking for the damn item vendor.
2. When you go to the ATM and think, "how much info do I need?"
3. When you are late for work because you couldn't find your fidora.
4. Hell it's even worse if you really have a fidora.
5. When you attach your FA sig to your email at work.
6. When your buddy irl tells a good joke and you say, "lol"
7. When you start sizing people up irl thinking, "I wonder what kinda loot I could get off them?"

You know you play MxO too much when:
* You sit around outside, looking at the clothing of the people that walk by and think: "Man, I could code something so much better than that, and it would have buffs!"
* You frequently find yourself looking up at the roofs of buildings or other high places, and contemplating whether you could Hyper-Jump up to it.
* You wonder why people keep ignoring your /duel requests
* You discovered who Robert Henley was and your immediate reaction was: "Shit, he's jacking FA's uniform" (This one really happened to me)

I actually had to stop myself saying "lol" once. I stopped playing for a whole hour because i was so ashamed :(

You know you have been playing too much MxO when:
* - you start talking in Matrix terms in rl (e.g. Let me go jack in and take a look at it.)
* - you look at downtown buildings and wonder if all the doors and levels are functional
* - you look at downtown buildings and wonder where the access nodes are.
* - you look at all the traffic and people in the downtown area and think....damn I wish I had a graphics card that could render this well.
* - you wish you had a hardline at home so you wouldnt have to worry about traffic, you could just jack into the closest hadline to work.
* - you find yourself going through RFZ withdrawl when not near a computer (I actually suggested that they consider talking to XM or Siruis about broadcasting on Satellite).
* - you constantly look at the file cabinets, desks, pictures (is there a safe behind it) and wonder what code bits or loot might be there.
* - your ringtone, background, computer mail tune, etc.. all are MxO related items.
* - you constatly think about the philosophy of MxO and the Matrix and talk about events in rl as though they will have some bearing on rl.
*btw: the philosophical part of the matrix I would love to talk with others about.. e.g. in M1, they spent the movie looking for Neo....what else where they doing? What were other hovercraft crews jacking in to do??? Why was there no snow. on the surface....? Is Zion the only city (the world is pretty f*cking big to have only one city left)...
(these are the things I think about when not jacked in. thinking about being jacked in, and the inevitable family/work/school stuff)

You know you have been playing MxO too long when:
* you wish that the economy of MxO was the same as Project Entropia (e.g. where you can convert real $$ for virtual and vice versa) and think... damn I could really be set with the $4b in my account
* if the above would work, you would really be worried about when the wipe of beta would happen and if you could get it out in time..
* - you look at a phone receiver and wonder how the hell I could fit through there.

You know you play MxO too much (or for that matter love your faction so much) that you leave work early around 5 FA time ( i was supposed to leave 7 FA time) because Tbone said Filming will start at around 6 FA time :P

Ok better one. Yor base your time off of FA time and not your real time zone.
While writing a report and you have to include a biography page on youself you put

Ok, its official I play to much MxO. A couple days ago at work I went to use a phone I actually asked where the hardline was. People give you strange looks when you do that. I lean back in my chair when I'm jacking in. I've forgotten what day it is in RL because I'm too busy watching the sun and moon ingame. I find myself staring out into space alot and coming back to see green code when I enter a new area. *sigh* I'm addicted but at least its an amazing game. :)

You know you play too much MxO when you pass up a parking space on the 1st floor of a parking garage, just so you could go all the way to to the top, and calculate how far you could hyper-jump from the roof of the parking garage.

You know you play too much MxO when:
- Your cellphone doesn't get good reception in your house, so when you're having conversations with friends, you roam around the house pretending it is a Data Node Locator handheld, using the signal bars as a indicator of how close you are to a "data node".
(Yes, I was doing that earlier today....it was very entertaining)

When you miss a bus stop, and stay on the bus for an extra hour and end up half way down the country sleeping....... all becuase you refused to go to bed the night before

*when you search to expliot the real world for 4 billion (i actually caught myself thnking that)
*when you search for the mission indicator to lead you whever your going
*when you say to you friend "can you lend me some info?" i actually said that to my friend one time at the movies
*when you see a cop and strike a pose and search for a way to search for his level
*when you constantly search for a way to expliot the world to advance yourself
*when you start up the launcher and try and type in your user name and password before it finshes processing (i do that EVERYTIME)
*when your at school parking lot parked in East Jabib and you try and use Hyperjump or Hyperspeed and realize your not jacked in
*when your walking to school and cars almost hit you and you figure you'll just automaticly superjump overthem
*when you constantly look for people in white and dark clothing for hope the real world is really the matrix....

you skip class/work/whatever to play mxo (or download the new patch)
you shed a virtual tear for your RSI when it comes time for a character wipe
you jump for joy at the news of a character wipe because you are sick of looking at your RSI's nasty ugly face (psycidelicos actually said that ... he made his current char as ugly as possible haha)

2.) You look in the phone book and say, "Damn, where's the Creston Heights (South Central) number at?"
3.) You go looking inside different buildings to see if they are dungeons.
4.) You try to level up an ability you think you have that's called "Common Sense 1.0".
5.) You are about to make a move with your girlfriend, so you say "/kiss Sarah".
6.) You try to activate Hyper-Sprint while running in a high school track meet.

You find yourself in an elevator looking to see what the highest floor is

3.) You lower you head close to your desk and try to be as quiet as possible while talking on your cell phone after it rang, hoping that the agents won't spot you in the office.
4.) You tell your best friend you can't find a certain piece of clothing around, such as a shirt, so you tell him to code one for you.
5.) Your girlfriend cheated on you with another man, so you say to her "/slap", "/slap", "/slap", and "/slap". Shortly after, you go over to a corner and tell yourself "/cry".
